One standard, one grader, every carton

Grade A is written down before the season and checked twice before anything is packed. Here is what that means on your pass, and how you can check it.

GAP

Recorded practice on every block

Pesticide use is recorded by plot and by cycle across all six farms, together with input records, pre-harvest intervals and water management. Our ginger is certified under MyGAP by the Department of Agriculture, and our Cili Merah (large red chilli) is available both MyGAP-certified and uncertified. The other lines are not certified yet: a MyGAP farm audit is targeted for early 2027, and GLOBALG.A.P. after that. We tell you in writing which applies to your lot, with the certificate number where there is one.

HAL

Halal supply-chain control

No porcine material, alcohol-derived input or other non-halal substance enters growing, washing, packing or transport at any point, and the packhouse is operated on that basis. Malaysian law reserves the word halal for certified goods, so we state the practice and the certification status per lot rather than the label.

TRC

Traceable to block

Every consignment carries a block and harvest date, so a query on Tuesday can be traced to a field and a crew.

QC

Grading before packing

Two grading passes — in the field and at the packhouse — against criteria written before the season, not negotiated at the loading bay.

Where our claims can be verified

MyGAP certificate numbers

The mark belongs to the Malaysian Department of Agriculture and we show it for the lines it covers: ginger, and Cili Merah where you order certified lots, since Cili Merah is also sold uncertified. Everything else on our list is not MyGAP-certified yet and is never sold as if it were. For a certified lot, the certificate number of the block it came from is printed on the batch record, so you can verify it with the issuing office rather than take our word.

The grading reference

The photographs that define Grade A, B and C are shared with every grower and every contract buyer, not kept internal. Anyone can hold a box against them.

One accountable grader

One person checks each consignment against the written standard and signs it off. Not a department.

Weighed, not estimated

Every crate goes over the scale and the weight is written onto the lot sheet before dispatch. A short delivery shows up here, not at your goods-in door.

Grading standard

The same criteria are applied at the packhouse to every crop, adapted to that crop’s size and colour ranges.

Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask it in the enquiry form and we will answer in writing.

What is the minimum order on Premium?+

From 20 kg per delivery. We would rather start with one line on your menu and grow from there than promise a whole order list on day one.

Can you grow a variety for us?+

Yes. Tell us the variety, the size and the volume, and we plant it to your schedule. Talk to us one crop cycle ahead.

Do you deliver to the kitchen?+

Yes, DAP to your kitchen on your service days, or collected at the farm gate in Kelantan.

What happens if a line is short?+

Your contact tells you before the delivery day and agrees a substitution with you. We do not swap a line without asking.

Is the produce halal certified?+

Fresh unprocessed vegetables and fruit do not in themselves require halal certification, and Malaysian law reserves the word halal for goods certified by JAKIM or a state Islamic authority. What we state is the practice: no porcine material, alcohol-derived input or other non-halal substance enters growing, washing, packing or transport.

Can we visit the farm?+

Yes. Any client can visit the plot their produce comes from, with no notice period and no minimum order.
