Payment and Delivery Terms

Standard terms · October 2026 — individually agreed terms take precedence

The commercial frame we work in, published so you can check it against your own procurement rules before you spend time on an enquiry. Everything below is the standard position; the terms agreed in your quotation or supply agreement take precedence.

Minimum order quantity

The minimum order quantity depends mainly on how far the delivery point is from our farms in Kelantan: the further the route, the larger the minimum. Collected at the farm gate, there is no minimum order quantity. For delivered orders, the minimum agreed for your requirements in your quotation or supply agreement applies. · Indicative minimums for delivery: Nusatani Premium from 20 kg per crop per delivery; Nusatani Daily, domestic, one pallet per delivery, approximately 400 to 600 kg depending on crop and packing; Nusatani Daily, export, one mixed 20-foot container, or one pallet on consolidated groupage where a consolidator serves your lane; Nusatani Spot, depending on the distance, at least 250 kg per delivery.

Incoterms® 2020

Domestic Malaysia: EXW at the farm gate in Kelantan, or DAP to your production site, packhouse or distribution centre. · Export: FCA Kelantan or FCA Port Klang / Kuala Lumpur International Airport; FOB Port Klang or Penang for sea freight; CFR or CIF to the named destination port on request. DDP is not offered, because import clearance and food-safety admission in the destination market must sit with the importer of record.

Payment terms

The payment terms individually agreed in your quotation or supply agreement apply. Where nothing else is agreed, the standard positions are: · Export: first order 100 per cent in advance by telegraphic transfer, or an irrevocable letter of credit at sight confirmed by a Malaysian bank for shipments above the order value stated in your quotation. · Domestic: 30 per cent due on delivery, 70 per cent within one week of delivery. · Monthly supply: payment within 14 days of delivery. · Nusatani Spot: regular business customers as for domestic supply; new customers pay 100 per cent on delivery.

Currency and banking

Invoices are issued in Malaysian Ringgit for domestic supply, and in Ringgit, United States Dollars or Euro for export, as agreed in the quotation. Bank charges outside Malaysia are for the buyer. Our banking details appear only on the invoice and are never changed by email; if you receive a change of bank details purporting to come from us, telephone your named contact before paying.

Taxes and duties

Fresh agricultural produce is not subject to Sales and Service Tax in Malaysia in its unprocessed state. Export shipments are zero-rated. Import duties, taxes, inspection fees and levies in the destination country are for the buyer under all Incoterms rules we offer.

Delivery schedule

Fixed delivery days are agreed per supply agreement and are the whole point of the Daily line. The delivery window is confirmed on the working day before dispatch. Produce is cut in the morning and leaves the packhouse the same day; time from cut to delivery point is within 24 hours for domestic destinations. In the monsoon months, November to February, harvests fall by 50 to 60 per cent across all lines; every crop stays available, buyers with fixed volumes booked regularly at a fixed price are served first, and you receive the volume confirmed to you in advance. In cases of force majeure, such as floods, road closures or other events beyond our control, deliveries can be delayed; we tell you as soon as we know and agree the new delivery day with you.

Cold chain

Produce is field-cooled and held at the temperature appropriate to the crop until loading. Where you collect, the cold chain becomes your responsibility at the farm gate; we will tell you the holding temperature for each crop and record the temperature at loading.

Documentation supplied

Every delivery: delivery order and batch record with harvest date, grade and weight, and the plot code of the block the lot came from; where a lot is pooled from several blocks, the farm code. · Export shipments additionally: commercial invoice, packing list, phytosanitary certificate from the Department of Agriculture where the destination requires one, and a certificate of origin, including preferential origin under ATIGA, AANZFTA, RCEP or CPTPP where applicable.

Two lines, one supplier

Grade A for hotel and restaurant kitchens on Nusatani Premium. Contract volumes of Grade B and C on Nusatani Daily. Or simply ask on WhatsApp.
