Nusatani was founded by people who have worked in Europe’s food and feed business for many years. We bring what works on modern European farms to the East Coast of Malaysia: efficient growing, training for farm workers, quality management and farm optimisation.

Where we come from

Two decades in the European feed business

Our European side is OKAPI GmbH in Berlin, Germany. OKAPI trades horse feed in the European and UK markets and makes feed ingredients itself or together with partner farms in Germany, the Czech Republic, France and other European countries.

Modern farming in Europe

Food and solar power from the same field

On a growing number of European farms, solar panels stand above or between the crops. The field keeps producing food, the panels produce electricity for the farm, and the partial shade protects plants from heat and heavy rain. Projects like these in Germany, France, Spain and Croatia guide our ambition.

Our goal for Malaysia

We plan our own power generation on the Nusatani farms and on partner farms that are suited to it. Modern farming in Malaysia should look the way it already does in Europe.
