Personal Data Protection Notice

Version 1.0 · October 2026

This notice is issued under section 7 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709) of Malaysia. It explains what personal data Nusatani collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is available in English and Bahasa Melayu; both versions carry equal weight.

Who processes your data

Pacific Global Solutions Sdn Bhd (company no. 202501003662), registered at D’Farm House, Kampung Alor Hijau, 16810 Selising, Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, Malaysia, trading as Nusatani, is the data user. Questions about this notice go to sales@nusatani.com or +60 11-4068 4435.

What we collect

Through the sourcing enquiry form: company name, contact person, business email, business telephone, country, buyer type, and the crop, grade, volume, packaging, frequency, destination and start date you enter. Through the Premium callback request: name, venue, role, telephone and any note you add. Through ordinary web serving: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page, in server logs.

Why we process it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, negotiate and perform a supply contract, meet our record-keeping duties under the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transactions) Regulations 2012 and tax law, and to secure and improve this website. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal basis and consequences of not providing data

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form, and where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you. Fields marked as required are necessary to reply at all; without them we cannot process your enquiry.

Disclosure

We may disclose your data to: our contracted growers and packhouse where necessary to fulfil an order; logistics and cold-chain providers; our bank for settlement; professional advisers; and government authorities where required by law, including the Department of Agriculture, Royal Malaysian Customs and the Ministry of International Trade and Industry for export documentation. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

Transfer outside Malaysia

If you are outside Malaysia, or if a logistics or banking counterparty is, your data will be transferred outside Malaysia to that extent. Any such transfer is made only for the purposes above and subject to the safeguards required by section 129 of the PDPA.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for 24 months from last contact if no contract follows. Contract and transaction records are kept for seven years to meet tax and commercial record-keeping duties. Server logs are kept for 90 days.

Spot alerts

If you register for Nusatani Spot alerts, we keep your company name, contact person, email address, optional telephone number and the products you chose, so that we can email you when those products become available at short notice. The registration becomes active only after you confirm it through the link we send you. Every alert contains a link to unsubscribe, and you can also write to sales@nusatani.com. We delete the registration when you unsubscribe, or after 24 months without any order or contact.

Enquiry list in your browser

When you add products to your enquiry on a product page, the selection is kept only in your own browser (local storage) for up to 30 days, so that it is still there when you open the enquiry form. It is not sent to us until you submit the form, and it is cleared once you have submitted it. You can remove it at any time by taking the products out of the enquiry or by clearing your browser data.

Farm network applications

If you apply to join the Nusatani farm network, we use the farm and contact details you give us to assess the application and to arrange a farm visit. If no partnership follows, we delete them after 24 months.

Security

Data is held on access-controlled systems, transmitted over TLS, and made available only to staff who need it to do their work.

If something goes wrong

If a personal data breach occurs that causes or is likely to cause significant harm, we notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and, where the Act requires it, the affected individuals, within the period set by the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024. Our designated contact for data protection matters is reachable at sales@nusatani.com.

Your rights

Under sections 30 to 43 of the PDPA you may request access to your personal data, request correction of data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, withdraw your consent to further processing, and limit processing for direct marketing. Write to sales@nusatani.com. We reply within 21 days, as section 31 of the Act requires. A fee prescribed by the Act may apply to an access request.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores your language and line preference in the page address only. If web analytics are added later, this notice will be updated and consent obtained before any non-essential cookie is set.

Changes

We may update this notice. The version and date at the top show when it last changed. Material changes affecting how we use existing data will be notified to affected contacts directly.

Two lines, one supplier
